From farmhouses off Tazewell Pike to new homes near the Gibbs schools, Dee's Roofing and Seamless Gutters brings honest, owner-run roofing to northeast Knox County.
Ask for directions in northeast Knox County and you'll hear about Gibbs, even though state maps label the crossroads Harbison Crossroads. The name traces back to Nicholas Gibbs, an early settler, and it lives on in Gibbs Elementary, Middle and High School along Tazewell Pike, just north of where the pike meets East Emory Road. Around that crossroads you'll find working farms, old family homesteads and newer subdivisions filling in former pastureland, with House Mountain rising to the east. Dee's Roofing and Seamless Gutters works on Gibbs homes from our headquarters in Powell, right here in Knox County.
We're a family-owned company, and owner Darrell Webb runs every project himself, alongside crews who have been with him for years. There's no salesman standing between you and the people doing the work. In Gibbs that often means re-roofing farmhouses and brick ranches, putting metal roofs on barns and outbuildings, and correcting the attic ventilation that keeps a new roof from baking through a humid July.
Open, rolling lots catch the full force of spring and summer thunderstorms, and gusty wind can lift shingles and peel back ridge caps on exposed roofs. Where tree lines border a yard, leaves and limbs end up in the gutters every fall. After a hard storm we'll inspect your roof free of charge and give you a straight answer about what we find.
